So we did another fabulous bride on March 20th at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach! It was a gorgeous day! Joyce and her her girls were so fun to be around and the day was so smooth! Heather and I came and did the hair and makeup as my awesome assistant, Kelly set hair and snapped these awesome photos to capture our "Getting Ready" process!
Look at what a great idea this bride had when it came to numbering her tables! She took photos of her and her hubby at each age and used those with the coordinating table number. Here's a photo to show as an example
Here are some of our finished styles:

Another fun-filled and crazy BIG bridal party!
We called in the troops for this one! Beauty and the Beach and their team of 6 stylists, under Heather's great leadership, cruised down to the gorgeous Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. We arrived at 9 am and had everyone picture perfect by 2:00! What a beautiful bridal party! They sure made our job look easy! Natalie our fabulous bride and her 9 bridesmaids, two moms, an aunt and two flower girls...t was about 26 services!! Ran pretty smooth considering the fact that me and my prego belly fell and tweaked my foot earlier that morning and could hardly walk. Here are some pics to see the glimpse of our day!
The makeup was inspired by the amazing bouquets and the peacock feathers!

Tip for the week
To save money during these tough times, use your finger or a foundation brush to apply your foundation. Once you've placed it on your face, blend it in with a sponge. If you use a sponge directly, it soaks up all your foundation and you'll go through it twice as fast!

Angel's Incredible Indian Wedding!
Last Saturday, March 6th, I had the pleasure of participating in one of the coolest, most fascinating and beautiful weddings I've seen in the 12 years I've been doing weddings! Angel and Tim threw a gorgeous Indian Wedding complete with an elephant and ALL! They had a Christian ceremony and reception as well, so the hair and makeup was so fun to do because we changed the look about three times throughout the day! Angel was so welcoming and allowed me to witness the groom riding in on a huge elephant with all their loved ones dancing in the POURING RAIN around him! It was like watching a Bollywood movie!
