I loved, LOVED my hair. Katie and her team were awesome. She transformed my stick-straight short hair into Charlize Theron Oscar-worthy waves and it stayed that way for 10 hours. Ten hours. I did not want to wash my hair.
Katie made me feel very comfortable during the trial session. I brought my camera and asked her to take photos during the session since my MOH could not come with me. I asked her if we can tone down the eye make-up and she did. She took photos of both looks. (Although once I got used to wearing it for the evening night out, I told her I liked how she did it originally and to keep it that way for my wedding)! I also tried the airbrush make-up during the trial and I liked it!
She made me look amazing on my wedding day - even better than the trial session! She also worked on my MOH, bridesmaid, mom, aunt and flower girl and they all looked great! Thank you Katie!!!

Katie did a truly amazing job at my wedding. She did my hair and make up as well as my bridesmaid's hair and make up. Everyone looked so beautiful. My girls had updo's and I wore my hair down but pulled back. (pics in bio) I got so many compliments on my hair and make up and they came out great in the pictures as well. Katie is super sweet, professional, punctual and talented. She listend to exactly what I wanted to look like for my big day. She went out of her way to make everyone of us beyond satisfied. Katie was fantastic! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and wedding day. She also did hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids, my mom and MIL. Everyone loved working with her and her assistant. They both did an excellent job. Everyone loved their hair and makeup. Katie was on time and stayed on schedule on the wedding day. Our hair and makeup lasted all day and night. I got lots of compliments, as did my girls. During the planning process, I changed my mind about my makeup after my first trial and Katie fit me in for a second trial just a few days before my wedding. Beauty and the Beach was absolutely awesome! Everyone tells you that you look beautiful on your wedding day, but I actually felt like I was the most beautiful I had ever looked in my life. That confidence on my wedding day was priceless! She did 4 of my bridesmaids hair as well and they all looked stunning! Everyone loved what she did with their hair. Plus, we took pictures near the beach before our ceremony and everyone's hair held up perfectly. I did airbrushed makeup and it lasted all night, so if you are considering it I would definitely go for it!

“Katie is fabulous!!! First, she came to my house for a trial. Who does that? It was so comfortable and we talked and talked. I think she was there for over an hour! When she was done, I was blown away. I loved it! It was natural but definitely highlighted enough to stand out! My wedding day was extremely hectic as I had 4 bridesmaids, myself, and both my mom and mother-in-law that needed to have there hair and make-up done by 8:30AM!!! They showed up at 4:00 in the morning and busted a move! We all looked the best we had ever looked and I made it to the church ON-TIME! In addition, my 'pre-view' of my hair and make-up was great. I have to admit I was really nervous about my hair in general because I have had bad luck in the past with stylists but Katie did a perfect job. I could not have been more happy. Also as a testament to Katies character; my mother had some unfortunate acupuncture which caused bruising on her face on the day of the wedding. Even though I had not hired Katie to do make-up, she told my mom she had a makeup kit in the car that would fix her right up. Heather was fantastic!! She did my hair and make-up for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier! Heather also did hair for my three bridesmaids and the flower girl, all of whom were thrilled with their results. Her efficiency and organization helped the day run smoothly as she completed all 5 of us on time. Heather is so talented! I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair or make-up to look for my wedding, but Heather seemed to understand my personal style and what would work for my hair and skin type. She came to my house for a trial run two days before the wedding and I absolutely loved what she did! Then, she did it all again just perfectly on the wedding day. During my trial, I showed Katie a picture of what I'd like, and I kid you not, she was able to recreate it completely...and made it even better! They originally were booked to do bridal hair & make up, as well as hair and make up for my 4 bridesmaids. My mom, grandma & cousin originally had appointments at another local salon, and once they saw how great their work was...they called to cancel with the other stylist and Katie & her team were very quickly able to accommodate.
